1. Overview
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) applies to everyone who uses ChatLaunchApp. It forms part of our Terms of Service. Because we generate and, on request, publish apps to app stores on your behalf, misuse can put your apps - and our developer accounts - at risk. By using the service you agree not to do any of the following.
2. Prohibited content
Don’t use ChatLaunchApp to build, generate, or publish apps that:
- Are illegal or facilitate illegal activity.
- Infringe anyone’s intellectual property, trademarks, or publicity rights, or impersonate another brand or app.
- Contain or distribute malware, spyware, or other harmful code, or attempt to compromise devices or data.
- Are deceptive, fraudulent, or scams - including phishing, fake services, or misleading functionality.
- Contain content prohibited by app-store rules - such as sexual content involving minors, gratuitous violence, hate speech, or harassment.
- Violate others’ privacy or collect personal data without a lawful basis and proper disclosure.
- Offer regulated goods or services (e.g., gambling, financial, healthcare, pharmaceuticals) without the required licenses and authorizations.
3. Prohibited conduct
- Abusing, overloading, or interfering with our infrastructure, builds, or other users.
- Circumventing usage limits, access controls, billing, or security measures.
- Reverse engineering the platform, or reselling the service without our written permission.
- Using the service to send spam or unsolicited messaging.
- Automating abuse, or generating apps at a scale intended to evade store review or our policies.
4. App-store compliance
Apps you publish through us must comply with the rules of the destination stores, including the Apple App Store Review Guidelines and the Google Play Developer Program Policies. You are responsible for your app’s compliance; we may decline or remove submissions that put compliance - or our store accounts - at risk.
5. Your responsibilities
You’re responsible for the apps you create and publish, the content and data they handle, and any claims arising from them. Make sure you have the rights to everything you submit, and provide accurate information for store submissions.
6. Enforcement
If we believe you’ve violated this AUP, we may - with or without notice, depending on severity - remove content, halt or unpublish apps, suspend builds, or suspend or terminate your account. We may also report unlawful activity to the authorities.
7. Reporting abuse
To report an app or account that may violate this policy, email support@chatlaunch.app with details.
8. Changes
We may update this AUP as the service and store rules evolve. We’ll post the updated version here and revise the “Last updated” date.
